So a majority of a subset of doctors favors a combined public/private option...but the poll results can't be extrapolated to doctors at large. But I AM aware of the study that said up to 45% of doctors would consider retiring early from the practice of medicine if healthcare reform (with a public option) as currently described is passed. "Witch Hazel" lived there - our name for her. Dark stone and wood construction, overgrown grass and weeds, rarely an electric light on at night (just candles), strange sounds emanating from the house (as the legend went). When she died, the paperboy found her at the door. The paperboy told the neighbors, who passed the word up and down the street. Us kids got together, cut the grass, pulled weeds, helped the Dads with trimming bushes and trees. You guys had more guts than we did - we never got the nerve to go to the door! Cheers! Jeff,
